I am a Flow Cytometrist/Senior Scientist in the Space and Life Sciences Division, Immunology Laboratory at the NASA-Johnson Space Center in Houston Texas.  In the links to the left you will find pages detailing projects in which our laboratory participates, including:

BREAKING NEWS:
 
January 2009:   I have just returned from Concordia Base, Dome C, Antarctica.   Deployment was 3 weeks, supporting a NASA ground-based human physiology study.

NEXT UP:
 
February 2009:  This month STS-119 will be the fifth mission for Integrated Immune flight study.   Three Shuttle crewmembers and three ISS crewmembers will participate.
 
May 2009:  This spring will see the first post-flight/landing support for Integrated Immune at Star City Russia for ISS Expedition-18 crew.   The crew will land on the Russian Soyuz spacecraft.  
 
Summer 2009:   We will perform our Immune Assessment study during the NEEMO-14 undersea analog mission.   The NEEMO station is located off Key Largo.  See the NEEMO page for more info!
